KIGUMO SON WANTS TO SUCCEED NDUATI KARIUKI IN DO OR DIE SPEAKER'S RACE

The race to succeed Speaker Nduati Kariuki in Muranga County Assembly appears to be tough and only a candid man will endure the turbulence.

This is because the key leaders have money, influence and Godfathers and are willing to part with anything to be the Second man in command in Muranga County.

Nduati Kariuki having probably tasted power despite his advanced age is unwilling to let go.
The speaker's seat attracts a basket of privileges e.g Two uniformed guards calling to
attention to alert members of County Assembly that Mr 'Speeeeaker" is on his way to the floor of the house, flanked by security details marching with a mace hence Kariuki can't imagine that a time and an hour like this next year he will not be enjoying the powers and the privileges.

Other than the influence and wealth, the Speaker's seat requires brains and basic understanding of problems facing Murang'a residents.

That's why the Kigumo son,Julius Mwaura Gitundu believes he is the most suitable for the County's top job.

A one time Shamba boy, Mwaura is a graduate in Bsc IT and a diploma in IT both from Dedan Kimathi University.
He was employed as a "Kanda ya moko" in 2004 but was fortunate enough to get sponsors who assisted him join High school.
Sharing his vision to KK online News, Mwaura said he is looking forward to a better Murang'a where leaders will work as a team fighting for the common interest and the well being of Murang'a residents.
Born in 1989 a young brilliant turk is touted as the most social person having interacted with the majority of the Muranga political elite.
