Sabina Chege Under Fire After Independent Candidates Responds To Her Criticism

Days after Murang'a Women Representative Wanjiru Chege castigated Independent candidates describing them as Self seekers who are hungry for power, the independent candidates have sent her a hot, chilly message to her .

Maragua Member of Parliament Independent Candidate  Antony Chege has demanded respect from Sabina and all the other Jubilee nominees who have joined efforts to bedevil them.

"I wish to remind the Jubilee Nominees that they are not above us just because they are in Jubilee party. We are all equal in the eyes of the law, Jubilee party is a political party like any other and that should not make those who stole votes feel superior than us," Chege told Journalists after he was cleared by IEBC on Thursday.

On his part Kiharu Member of Parliament independent candidate Mr. Karanja Mburu    condemned the Jubilee Candidates who "Even after they stole votes they go ahead and parade their arrogance in public, calling us Members of NASA while others Badmouthing us"

Karanja Mburu who is popularly known as Wamatangi advised all Candidates to respect each other and campaign peacefully without insults and belittling others.
"I'm practicing my political right as enshrined in the Constitution and no one including those bragging that it is them who have political rights can change that. Let any politician sell their manifesto to Wanjiku instead of propagating lies and innuendos about us," Karanja said.

He also dismissed Sabina's assertions that they were badmouthing Jubilee Candidates. "We are not! But then saying the truth is not badmouthing anyone, If the votes were stolen there are no better words to explain the same than telling as it is.

The Independent candidates observed that the only difference they had with Jubilee Candidates was that they engaged in election malpractices, ballot staffing and multiple voting during the Jubilee party primaries while those who remained honesty and truthful to God, law and voters were rigged out.

Karanja Mburu lost to Ndindi Nyoro whose win raised doubts to majority of the Kiharu residents.

Results for Wangu Gaturi and Township wards have remained unclear to this date.

Karanja Mburu described Jubilee party candidates as fearful, rumour mongers and guilty. "If they legally won why are they fearful, let them wait on 8/8/2017 and they will see dust,"

Wa Iria Dodges His Critics Cleared By IEBC

Governor Mwangi wa Iria has been cleared by IEBC to defend his seat on 8/8/2017.

He was cleared this morning at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission offices, Mukuyu.

His clearance has come as a shock to most of his critics who were burning midnight oil to ensure he does not get a nod from the Commission.

A 'Muranga Voter'  had been sponsored by Wa Iria's arc rivals to bar him from contesting over claims of graft claims and abuse of office.

Court cases are not new for the Governor who have been facing Corruption related cases that have been occasionally been sponsored by his political enemies.
