DASHED HOPES: A MAJOR BLOW TO JAMLECK KAMAU

Contrary to the expectations of many, most of the Jubilee losers have failed to be nominated both in the National Assembly and the Senate.

Save for a few like former Runyenjes MP Cecily Mbarire and his Starehe Counterpart Maina Kamanda who will get nominated to the National Assembly and Beth Mugo who will make a comeback in the Senate, some political bigwigs who were floored during the Jubilee Party nominations are missing in the list.

This is despite remaining loyal to the party and declining to vie on other parties or vie as Independent candidates for various seats but opting to campaign for the party.

In Muranga County, former Kigumo legislator Jamleck Kamau who was trounced by Muranga Governor Mwangi wa Iria in the highly contested gubernatorial nominations is among the politicians campaigning for the Jubilee Party and the re-election of Uhuru Kenyatta under Uhuruto Express initiative.

Time and again, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy have been on record saying politicians who failed in the primaries but opted to support the Jubilee Party will be rewarded with plum state jobs and nominations to key positions once they  form the next government.

With their names missing in the nomination lists for the National Assembly and the Senate, it remains to be seen whether they will be nominated as Cabinet secretaries with their supporters high with expectations for this to happen.

However, this will only happen if Uhuruto and the Jubilee government win the 8th August 2017 General Elections. His goose and that of other politicians will be cooked if NASA wins the elections with some of his supporters expressing this concern, as its highly unlikely NASA will nominate politicians aligned to the Jubilee Party.

Although positions are many in government Jamleck Kamau's  supporters are looking forward for his nomination to this coveted position.

The clock is inching closer to the General Elections with less than 40 days remaining.

Unbelievable: Wa Iria's Dinner Attracts Who Is Who Gets Millions

One Month to General Elections, Murang'a Politicians who eyes different elective positions are leaving no chances to boost their quest for political positions.

From Members of County Assembly candidates to the Presidential candidates, are doing all manner of things to lure voters to consider them in the ballot paper.

However most of them are grappling with financial challenges an obstacle that is surely derailing them to get a platform and probably share their vision to Wanjiku.

A good example is Wangu Mca Candidate Mr. Michael Chege Who has been creative enough to plan a goat eating ceremony that will take place at County Pride hotel at Muranga town to boost his campaigns.

He was vying the same seat on a Jubilee ticket but was outnumbered by Isaac Kamote's votes.

Moses Ndungu Mwangi, a Mzalendo Saba Saba candidate for governorship has also gone broke.

Ndungu has opened a pay Bill number where he is pleading with Murang'a electorates to Help even if it's a coin since Lack of Kifeeti is about to shutter his ambitions.

Governor Mwangi wa Iria is also in the list of those who seem to run out of cash.

On 29/6/2017 Wa Iria organized a dinner at Safari park where the entry was a plate of food worth Sh 100,000.

Majority of his supporters did not make it due to the intensity and sensitivity of economy but they were with him purely on prayers.

"I have been with Wa Iria through thick and thin but I could not manage to attend the high profile dinner but I kept him in prayers, " one of Wa Iria's staunch supporter who many people refer as a goon told KK online News.

Wa Iria's event however managed to attract who is who in the echelon of Jubilee leadership where Cabinet Secretary for Roads Hon James Macharia and Permanent Secretary for Planning and Statistics and Muranga's son Irungu Nyakera Were among the notable guests.

Others were Contractors and business men.

According to an officer who attended the function but requested anonymity, Wa Iria got over 20 Millions without counting those who pledged but did not honour the promise as at Yesterday.

The money will go along way in the 'Finishing line' especially with his competitor, Moses who seems tired and gasping for breath seeking for Campaign monies.

SHOCK:Murang'a Youth In Love With NASA's Manifesto Tear Down Jubilee's

The two major political parties in Kenya ie Jubilee and NASA have launched their Manifestos that will act as road map for the next five years should either forms Government.

NASA Coalition under the stewardship of Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka launched their vision to the Country yesterday a day after Uhuru Ruto's Jubilee unveiled their agenda in a colourful ceremony.

While Raila Odinga seems to concentrate on strengthening devolution, improving the living standards in Kenya and matters to do with social justice Jubilee is keen on promising continuity of their already established programs.

However majority of Muranga youths feel that Jubilee's manifesto was more of PR Stunts, a vision that can only be attained in dreamland.

Mwangi Maina a resident from Mathioya Constituency, has described Jubilee's manifesto as a lie, complicated and un realistic.

"Where is Jubilee Government going to get 1.3 Million jobs while they did not actualize 1 Million jobs they promised in 2013?" Mwangi wondered.

He castigated Jubilee for 'Not delivering on their promise.'

'They promised us 5 utra-Modern Stadium but that has not been actualized'

Mwangi noted that the ruling Coalition has given a manifesto that fits in already developed state while Kenya is developing Nation.

On Jubilee's promise of offering paid internship, Mwangi laughed off the idea saying that the move was just but a beautiful lie.

"We are currently living in deficit, and going by Jubilee's populists move we will have to pay more tax,"

However Mwangi said that NASA on the other hand had a very clear and workable manifesto that could be of essence to many Kenyans.

In a 72 page document, NASA promises to bar any Government official from working with the Government as measures to curb Corruption.

"Their Manifesto has a sense of inclusivity and if conceptionalised, will spur economic growth, he said.

A down to earth gentleman said that if electorates would be considering Manifesto, NASA would be elected early in the morning.

On his part Allan Kamau dismissed Jubilee's manifesto saying that Youth issues were not well articulated.

"These guys are promising a Six lane Superhighway from Nairobi to Mombasa which is estimated to cost Over Ksh 500 Billion,  without forgetting a Ksh 329 Billion Standard Gauge Railway. This means that we will live to pay these debts, Kamau exclaimed.

CONTRAST: Michuki Family Divided Over Jubilee Six Piece And Smaller Parties

Whenever the name of John Njoroge Michuki is mentioned, we remember a no nonsense man, bold, a man of strong Character and straight forward leader who always spoke his mind.

He was a staunch adherent of Kibaki's Principles of Governance and Transport reforms, introduced Speed Governors and Safety belts and by his own achievements, showed himself a worthy member of Kibaki's most consulted kitchen cabinet.

Michuki was influential, respected and a feared politician. He defended the Government with all his heart soul and spirit.

No one could argue or talk after he finished giving his speech, his word was final.

He was the engine behind Uhuru Kenyatta's endorsement in 2012 in a meeting at Ihura Stadium where the ground was full to its capacity. He was so domineering that no other Murang'a leader would go against his wish.

However his family seem to be holding opposing views on Uhuru Kenyatta's wish, Advocating for six piece voting pattern in Murang'a County.

One of his Sons is in the echelon of Jubilee party while his close relative is vying for Kangema Parliamentary seat on Martha Wangari's Nark Kenya party.

John Njoroge Mucheru whose father is John Michuki's step brother is a real threat to a Jubilee nominee in Kangema Constituency Mr. Muturi Kigano.

Although President Kenyatta is on record asking Murang'a voters to vote for the Jubilee nominees, Njoroge seems to defy His excellency and seems to be determined to clinch Kangema's seat on 8/8/2017.

Njoroge like any other Candidate in Kangema vying as an independent or on a friendlier party to Jubilee seems to take advantage of the fact that President Kenyatta and His Deputy did not make it to Kangema, it is alledged that they are creating a perception that Uhuru did not step his foot at Kangema because he was in dilemma on how to handle Independent candidates and Jubilee nominees. (Though me and you knows the reason for not making it to Kangema, Kahuro and Mathioya was because of time factor)

On the other hand, Michuki's son seems to be very occupied in Jubilee party doing all that he can to bridge the gap between the Jubilee party leadership and its Mcas nominees.

On 26/6/2017 all Muranga, Nyeri Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Laikipia and Rift Valley Mcas nominees were invited at Multi Media University courtesy of The late Michuki's son to 'Listen to the real issues on the ground' and find the solutions.

According to one of the invitees, The Nominees were given 300 t-shirts, 100 caps,600 flags 600 visors/paper caps.

"We were also given 50,000 each to boost our campaigns," the nominee told KK online News.

Confirming the said meeting, Michuki's son who requested anonymity, said that he just invited the Mcas to offer a technical support to the Jubilee party.

"I don't hold any position in Jubilee Party but I'm just trying to help the Mcas get the campaign materials and assisting the party to know what's going on in the ground and we can only know about it through Mcas,'  he said.

In an exclusive phone interview with KK online News, the witty son of Michuki said that he will also be conducting several meetings with Central and Rift Valley Mcas nominees, to make sure that they speak in one voice and drum up support for the reelection of Uhuru Kenyatta.

Asked about his relatives decision to vie on Nark Kenya, he said. ' I have not heard about it but there is nothing wrong for that by the end of day if he gets to Parliament he will vote in favour of our President."

GETTING THE FACTS RIGHT: Is MUWASCO SECRETLY SUPPLYING WATER TO KIRINYAGA?

Water is the most important necessity of life for all the living beings on earth.
Itself being tasteless, odourless and colourless, it's adds taste, colour and nice smell in the life of living beings on earth.

However many parts of Muranga County face water scarcity in Kiharu, Kabuta, Kimathi, and Kiangatia are examples of areas where residents struggle to get the important commodity, water.
When a section of Muranga town residents saw pipes along the Murang'a Sagana road, many started speculations that Murang'a water and sanitation company is on a mission to supply water to Sagana Town residents.

The subject became the talk of town where some have even called KK online News requesting us to investigate the matter and report whether the accusations are true.

"How can MUWASCO initiate a project to Sagana Town which is in Kirinyaga County?" a text message was posed to KK online News.

It was because of the above concerns that KK online News sought to know the truth of the matter from the horses mouth, Director of the Murang'a Water and Sanitation company Engineer Daniel Ng'ang'a.

He stated that the project dubbed Kabuta Sagana Road Water Project is purely and specifically targeting the areas of Kabuta, Kimathi and Kiangatia residents which are believed to be semi arid areas.

"Our mandate is to supply water to Murang'a residents and not Kirinyaga residents this means that the project will not go beyond the Sagana river which nears Sagana Town," Ng'ang'a said.
He said that the project is targeting 9000 people in those areas who are currently facing water scarcity.

"We have also started a special program known as Social Connection Policy where we shall connect water to these homes for free allowing our clients to pay gradually for a period of 12 months," Ng'ang'a said.

Speaking during an inspection tour of the ongoing project Ng'ang'a said that the project is as a result of a grant form Vitens Evides International (VEI) a consortium of six Dutch Water companies who gave out Ksh 16.9 Million for the project.

"The project will contribute positively to the area inhabitants because without water there is no life, every person deserves a chance to pursue their dreams and provide for their family, making sure each and every person has water is not a choice, it's a responsibility." Ng'ang'a told KK online News adding that clean water reduces childhood diseases keeping children in classes instead of Health clinics.

The provision of this rare commodity in these region something that the area residents have welcomed warmly.
"Access to clean water allows individuals to put their time and efforts into realizing their dreams instead of simply surviving, we shall divert time wasted on finding water to other meaningful activities," James Ndirangu from Kabuta has said.

Going by the above revelations, KK online News can authoritatively report that the propaganda that MUWASCO wanted to supply water to Sagana Town was ill intended and it was politicians who have resulted to Chicanery to deceive and confuse voters about Muwasco and in turn gain political mileage.

Thanks to the officials of the water service provider Company who have been showing no excessive or extreme qualities of fancy, emotion or prejudice in the service delivery.

Now you are in the know.

The list which has been treated as 'a highly guarded secret' has been allegedly selected by 7 Jubilee nominees for Members of Parliament, Jubilee Candidate for the Senatorial seat Hon Irungu Kangata, Murang'a Women representative Hon Sabina Chege and Muranga Governor Hon Mwangi wa Iria.

12 Simon Gikuru.

14 Muigai Jane Wanjiru   Kigumo

KK online News has learnt that the list should be comprised of 17 members but by going to press, Names from Kangema and Maragua had not been found.

The seven constituencies' candidate were supposed to produce a nominee each, while the Senator and Women rep were to select 2 nominees while the rest were left to the Governor and the Party.

But the list seems to generate heat as 3 of Kigumo Nominees are believed to have come from One Ward Kangare, the nominees are Anisa Kamau seconded by Ruth Mwaniki, Flasia Nduta seconded by Kangata And Jane Wanjiru who is the Jubilee's chair in Muranga County.

KK online News has also established that majority of the nominees were either aspirants or the leaders' campaigners during the Jubilee's nomination exercise.

However Muranga Jubilee party Secretary General Mr. Joel Mwaniki has questioned the criteria used to come up with the names.

"This is contrary to the Party's regulations where the names ought to be selected in consultation of the County Election Committee, All County officials, chairperson for the network of People living with Disabilities, Business community and the Party members," Mwaniki said.

He said that both the Secretariat and the Jubilee nominees sidelined them with the process.

Another Aspirant who lost in Jubilee party primaries has said that they are contemplating of going to court to challenge the list.

"These people took as for granted, we were told not to vie as Independents since we would be accommodated but this has not been the case," A former Aspirant said.

FEUD: Kembi Gitura Sabina Chege Showdown

Two days after the Controversial Presidential tour to Murang'a County (that majority have since described it as 'Fruitless') a debate on whether Independent candidates were supposed to attend the meeting has emerged.

Murang'a Women Representative and Education Committee Chair in the National Assembly Hon Sabina Chege  has come out with gun blazing castigating Kembi's move to attend 'Jubilee's meeting citing that 'The Independent candidates who attended the Presidential campaign tour contravened the electoral laws and should be investigated by IEBC'

Sabina who is the Jubilee's nominee for Women representative post in Muranga, castigated the independent candidates for trying to find favour by hiding in the President's Coat and sneaking in to the meeting reminding them that by vying as Independents they did not subscribe to the ideologies of Jubilee party and hence they should keep off the party affairs.

'It is important that these people accept defeat and ape leaders like Jamleck Kamau and Kinuthia Mbugua who conceded defeat and vowed to support the winners, It's not too late for them," Sabina said adding that those who resigned after being trounced by their opponents had inherited Raila's spirit not accepting defeat since 1992.

Addressing the media at Kandara,  Sabina who is known for the slogan Maitu Ndacenjagio described Independent candidates as power hungry, people with greed and blinding lust for power.

Sabina, a savvy politician, added that by attending the caravan as persona non gratas Kembi and Waithira humiliated themselves and that their strategies and tactics were not well thought out.

However Sabina's statements did not go unanswered.

Murang'a Senator Hon Kembi Gitura who is also vying as an independent candidate, shrugged off Sabina's sentiment wondering at what capacity could Sabina ask leaders to step down.

'By lording people to step down Sabina is simply taking us back to 1970s when our country was not enjoying democracy.I offer to remind her that Kenneth Matiba and Charles Rubia fought for it and she must let the people decide,' Kembi said.

Kembi, who is looking horns with his colleague Lawyer and Kiharu legislator Hon Irungu Kangata dismissed the accusations that he breached electoral laws insisting that 'The President remained the President 24/7 and that he had every right to attend to the meeting saying that he had been attended officially.

The relentless Kembi stated that the 'President needed all the Independent candidates and even candidates from smaller parties especially under the current Constitution where for one to be the President he must gunner 50% ➕ 1 adding that 'Every vote counts'

'I did not intrude Jubilee's meeting, I was invited officially and as far as I'm concerned the meeting at Blue Post was not a Jubilee party meeting, it was a Leaders meeting and that's why I, Gakure Monyo, and others went," Kembi Gitura told Journalists.

Asked why he followed President Kenyatta to all the stop overs and at Ihura Stadium, Kembi answered. "The President was campaigning to the same people who I'm asking to vote for me and my presence in all those areas, made a significant political statement, That I'm in the race and that I'm supporting Uhuru Kenyatta as the next President of the Republic of Kenya"

Kembi also described the chaos witnessed at Blue Post minutes before the arrival of the President and unfortunate, scandalous and asked Murang'a residents to take stock of the leaders they wanted.

FURY: Murang'a Residents Criticize Uhuru's Tour

The tour of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William  Ruto in Muranga  today has been largely criticized by Muranga residents who have described it as 'unsuccessful'

According to Kamau, a Murang'a resident, they expected President Uhuru Kenyatta to come with goodies the way he has been doing during his tour to other Counties in the country.

'I'm shocked that the President told us what we already know, water projects, Infrastructural development and coffee waiver something he did along time ago,' Kamau told KK online News.

On her part Irene Njeri a coffee farmer from Maragua Constituency said that she was highly expectant that the Head of State would address the wider problems facing Murang'a County.

'I understand that Uhuru has during his tenure as President bailed out the ailing coffee sector but the money had been allocated during the Grand Coalition Government that was headed by Mwai Kibaki as President and Raila Odinga as the Prime Minister. I would have been grateful to hear him explain his efforts in addressing other sectors",a frustrated Njeri told KK online News.

However,  the President pledged to assist  the Integrated Displaced Persons in the county. He also outlined the money injected by his government in health and in the road sectors in the region.

The residents who spoke to KK Online News said that the President had been giving goodies to other Counties but that was not the case to Murang'a County.

On his part Uhuru said that Jubilee government had alot in Muranga County.

"We started the water project where we hope that every homestead will access clean drinking water and water for irrigation, you also remember that we have developed Murang'a County in terms of Infrastructure,'  The President said.

Another area where residents feel they have been let down is on President's itinerary  on the areas he was scheduled  to visit.

Uhuru and his deputy were scheduled to start his tour at the Blue Post Hotel within Gatanga then proceed  and make  stopovers atJogoo, Mabanda, Kiunyu, Kahaini, Kabati, Kenol, Kagunduini, Karega, Muthithi, Maragua, Mukuyu,Kahuro, Kangema, Kiriaini, Kamacharia,Mugeka and then address a major rally at the historica Ihura Stadium in Muranga town.

However, Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto's tour largely covered the areas of Muranga South region -Gatanga, Kandara, Kigumo and Maragua.

In Muranga North region Uhuru only visited Mukuyu and muranga town that are in Kiharu constituency.

He did cover  Kiharu's as per the itinerary as Kahuro  town that the next destination  after Mukuyu was left out.

He ended his tour at Ihura Stadium past 6pm and did not visit Mathioya constituency and Kangema Constituencies despite huge crowds  waiting the whole day to receive and see him.

The  bitter and dejected residents accuse the President and his handlers of sidelining them in his tour.

Ironically, he arrived at Blue Post at 1152hrs contrary to the plan where he was expected at 800hrs.

However, Uhuru apologized for not making it to those areas due to time constraints with a promise to visit them soon. He ended by sending Murang'a  Women Rep Sabina Chege to pass his apologies to them.

BREAKING NEWS: Fracas At Blue Post Where Uhuru Is Expected

Fracas, exchange of words is being witnessed at Blue Post hotel where the Jubilee Party members and Nominees are waiting His Excellency Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and His deputy Hon William Arap Ruto.

Supporters of Jubilee party nominees  demand that Murang'a Senator and Senate deputy Speaker Kembi Gitura and Business tycoon Peter Munga leave the meeting with immediate effect.

Kangata who is the Jubilee nominee for Senate argues that the meeting is specifically meant for Jubilee members and not Independent and therefore Kembi is not allowed to participate in the party's affairs neither is he welcome in party's meeting.

Business and running of the hotel has been brought to a stand still as The Jubilee followers chant 'Munga Must Go"

Uhuru is expected to arrive at the hotel any time from now so that he starts his meet the people tour starting with Mabanda, Gatanga and finally a major rally at Ihura Stadium.

The meeting is expected to have all sorts of drama.

Among the attendees are Governor Mwangi wa Iria, all Jubilee nominees and Kigumo lawmaker and Muranga gubernatorial loser Hon Jamleck Kamau.

MURANGA'S SOCIAL MEDIA USERS GOES ABLAZE ON UHURU'S VISIT

Afew hours before President Uhuru Kenyatta and His Deputy Hon William Arap Ruto makes inroads to various parts of Muranga' County, Youths have expressed their views on what they expect from The President and his Deputy.

Pregnant of expectations, youths argue that Uhuru should surprise Murang'a County residents with goodies the way he have done to other Counties like Kiambu, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet among others.

The young turks in Muranga County took to Social media, probably the only way to reach out to The Commander in Chief the Armed Forces, expressing their views while others offering advice on what should be said and what should not be said.

KK online News has learnt that there has been a statement that trended in the better part of the day suggesting that Uhuru should not visit the County empty handed.

From the post, it is written that The National Government gave Ksh 800, Million to Internally displaced persons in Siaya County while in Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Elgeyo Marakwet Counties the residents benefited with the revival of Milk processing plant while the debts of milk farmers was waived.

The post also outlined Government efforts in developing Western region by reviving Pan Paper and Mumias Sugar while in Bundalangi a state of art Bridge was in construction.

In Kiambu County, the Post which found its way to different pages of Facebook and Whatsup suggested that over 1800 tittle deeds was issued to Nguriba residents.

The youth or youths seemed very determined to reach the message home, 'Remember Murang'a the way you do to other Counties"

Many argued that The National Government has forsaken the County something that is practically debatable.

However, it is in record that Murang'a County has benefited from Kenyatta's government in terms of infrastructure ie tarmacking of roads.

Early this year Uhuru launched the tarmacking of Mukuyu Kambirwa Gwa Thamaki road a 13 kms of roads that will contribute immensely to the growth of those areas.

Another project that is expected to help farmers is Ithanga Kirimiri Gakungu To Maragua road that is said to start being tarmacked.

However the residents seem not to remember all these. "Yeah I remember these but there have been such projects in all the other Counties but what we need is the campaign goodies," one of the social media actors told KK online News.

In his earlier visit, the President announced that the Government had cancelled the tender for Nyoro Roads Construction company after residents demanded so.

This seemed like any other road side declaration since it never came to pass, Will he address the same tomorrow especially between the areas of Kangema and Kiriaini?

Time will tell.

Some of the areas that Murang'a people have shown discontent are Water projects, Airstrip in Kambirwa, Coffee and Tea sector, laptops and electrification of Public Schools among others.

During his last visit, upon murmurs from Muranga town residents over hiking of water Tarrifs by Muranga water and sanitation company, The President promised that the Issue would be addressed, it's unfortunate that he visits the town before his word waa put in practice.

KK Online News will be following the President while keeping you in the know about his visits.

Murang'a residents have been expecting The Country's CEO, His Excellency Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta today (Tuesday) but his visit was postponed to Wednesday (21/6/2017)

Alot of speculations has been spread over why the visit was postponed some arguing that it is because of 'Rivalry between Murang'a Jubilee nominees while others having a notion that some leaders wanted the route revised and hence the need to reschedule the visit.

There are others who hold the view that  President Kenyatta may have postponed his visit since he could be in dilemma on how he would deal with Independent candidates who are embroiled in a serious campaign to dislodge Jubilee Nominees.

"We feel good since Our President will spend the whole day in Muranga on Wednesday interacting with the electorates," Sabina told KK online News.

She affirmed that all Murang'a Jubilee nominees are United and that they are all reading from the same script.

On Sunday, KK online News learnt that all Jubilee Nominees apart from Governor Mwangi wa Iria attended a Meeting at Golden Palm hotel located at Kenol to discuss afew issues in regard with President's visit to Muranga County.

Although Wa Iria's reasons for not attending the said meeting remains unclear, Sabina Chege said that they expected him to join them.

In the said meeting Kigumo's Jubilee nominee for Parliamentary seat Ruth Wangari Mwaniki is said to have raised an issue with the President's diary on Kigumo stop overs.

However KK online News has information that parts of Kigumo are included in the visit.

At the same time KK online News has obtained three conflicting messages addressing tomorrow's visit have a look.

"The Presidents itinerary on Wednesday 21st June will be as follows ......blue posts, jogoo, mabanda, kiunyu, kahaini, kabati, kenol,Kagunduini, karega ,muthithi, maragua, mukuyu, kahuro,Kangema, kiriaini, kamacharia, mugeka finally at  IHURA STADIUM for the rally. Public need to be at all the above stop overs to wellcome him. They also need to start gathering at Ihura from mid day for the rally."

"Blue post, mabanda, kiunyu, Kabati, kenol, kagunduini, kirere, Muthithi, maragua, makuyu, kahuro, kangema and mega rally at Rurii in kiriaini"

"H.E The President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP Ruto are expected to Visit Muranga County on Wednesday 21.06.17. With less than 50 days to the next General Elections, leaders who will not be participating in the elections as contenders are as busy as a bee doing all manner of things to ensure they will be part of the next Government.

With the IEBC having gazetted the names of the candidates from the Presidential hopefuls all the way to the Members of  County Assembly, the Now much coveted position in the Counties is the seat for the County Assembly Speaker.

In Muranga County there are reports that Nduati Kariuki, the current Speaker of Muranga County Assembly will be lobbying to have him get back his position.

Others are Kihumbuini Member of County Assembly Hon Moses Gachuui who is also the Deputy speaker in Muranga County Assembly.

Gachui lost in Jubilee Nominations

Gaichanjiru Member of County Assembly Hon Bernard Wanyoike is also said to have submitted his name with hopes of leading the Second County Assembly since inception of Devolution in the Country.

Mr Nyutu who is said to be the proprietor of St Michael's Girls School based at Kenol is also said to have been trying to reach out Jubilee nominees, with an aim of luring them to remember him when they reach to the floor of the house.

The fourth Candidate, Mr Peter Njangi, a teacher by profession who aspired to be the next Murang'a Speaker but his dreams were smashed by Irungu Kangata is also in the list of the four candidates.

According to a survey done by KK online News, there is a high likelihood that the Next Speaker of Muranga County Assembly will come from Murang'a South and mostly in Maragua.

This means that Nduati Kariuki and Bernard Wanyoike from Kandara may not sail through. This is because Wa Iria selected his Deputy, Maina Kamau from Kandara and this minimizes chances of the duo to clinch the much coveted seat.

For Moses Gachuui, his ambitions may not see the light because Gatanga has produced a high ranked Murang'a County Government official, The Deputy Governor Hon Gakure Monyo.

Having no candidate from Kigumo Constituency, we only have two choices Mr. Nyutu and Mwalimu Peter Njangi from Maragua Constituency.

Little is known for Mr Nyutu. He has not been in public limelight neither do the public know of his contributions in selling Jubilee's manifesto.

This could give Mr Peter Njangi an easy and smooth entry into Murang'a County Assembly as the First in Command in Legislative arm of Muranga County Government 2017.

Njangi who lost to Hon Irungu Kangata in the Senatorial race, was among the First loser to announce that he had supported the winner and even asked Murang'a Senator Kembi Gitura to follow suit. He was philosophical when he lost and swallowed a bitter pill and moved on.

As if that was not enough he started attending rallies, political meetings and church gatherings asking Murang'a residents to come out in large numbers in the month of August to vote for His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta and all the Jubilee nominees.

The down to earth Njangi has been in the teaching profession for the last 28 years a platform that has given him uncompromising skills of running a public institution.

An Mca Jubilee Nominee who requested anonymity, described Njangi as intelligent broadminded and straight forward leader with alot of untapped potential to give wise counsel to Those who would make it to the County Assembly.

"This is the best guy for the seat of Speaker, during the hotly contested gubernatorial politics between Hon Jamleck Kamau and Governor Mwangi wa Iria, he established a peace movement that calmed the situation. He crisscrossed every part of Muranga preaching peace, he should be rewarded for this," the leader told KK online News.

James Mwangi a Kiharu resident acknowledged Njangi for his acts of mercy that has saw over 8 bright but humble students being sponsored by the ambitious and gregarious man.
'Some of these students are at Maragi, Vidhu Ramji Secondary school to mention but a few," Mwangi said.

Describing him as Charismatic, Courageous and ambitious, Mwangi said that Njangi has given the down trodden in the society a shoulder to lean on and his deeds should bear fruits for him being considered as the next Murang'a Speaker.

TOP SECRET: DR MOSES DISCLOSES HIS SECRET CARD FOR WINNING ROUND TWO IN HIGH COURT

After weeks of sleepless nights, Murang'a Gubernatorial candidate Dr. Moses Mwangi, his family and supporters can now afford a sleep and to an extent a long nap.

On 15th June this year (Thursday) Moses' Supporters kept their fingers crossed at Milimani's high Court relentlessly and eagerly awaiting the Judge's verdict after the Complainant Mr. Peter Gatawa appealed days after his case was dismissed by The Tribunal.

Gatawa has argued that Moses hopped from 3 political parties contrary to the Elections laws.

However the Judge ruled on Moses Mwangi's favour confirming the earlier judgment by the Tribunal.

The court observed that Gatawa did not table compelling evidence to substantiate his litany of accusations and ruled that he carry the burden of payments to Moses 3 lawyers

Upon hearing the verdict Mzalendo Saba Saba candidate's supporters were ecstatic evidenced by cheerfulness and conviviality almost forgetting they were in a Court of law and start dancing.

Wearing uncharacteristically jovial face, Moses lauded the Judicial system of Kenya for rulling on his favour saying that the Court was not swayed by Political innuendos.

"The ruling today shows that Judiciary is headed by men and women with able and sober minds and signifies that those who want to get the Gubernatorial seat through Courts are doomed to fail," Moses said.

Addressing the media after the ruling the Happy Mwangi rebuked his Opponent for sponsoring legal battles so as to gain the upper hand in Gubernatorial race.

He also accused his opponent, Governor Mwangi wa Iria for playing with his hands since he announced his candidature.

Asked what could have been triggered his win in round two, Moses said that it has been a journey that has been characterised with daily prayers from supporters and his family

He said that since the case was taken to Milimani Law Courts he chose to remain calm, collected and humble pleading with his supporters to ape him something he said contributed greatly in winning the case adding that it was not his but for the Murang'a people.

He exuded confidence that he would emerge victorious in the General elections which will take place in less than 50 days.

FEAR: Deadly Gaza Squad Camps In Mukuyu

Residents of Kiawamburi village Maragi location in Muranga County have expressed concern over the escalating cases of insecurity in the area.

Bernard Njogu Gichanga is a victim of the rising cases of insecurity. He was on his way home from Mukuyu shopping center where he had gone to buy Unga after a long day at Quarry when he met three boys who descended on him with kicks and blows nearly dislocating his jaws.

'One of the boys hit me with a very sharp stone in my head and started bleeding profusely, when I left conscious they took my Wallet which had Sh 1200 and crucial documents and before leaving me for dead,' Njogu told KK online News.

Since then Njogu has been bedridden for he cannot be able to attend his chores and fulfilling his obligations, feeding for his family.

He said that he had been hearing about the deadly Gaza squad but has never met those thugs face to face.

Esther Njoki's son identified as Muchiri is also a victim.

'The small boys operate from the newly established Petrol station (Which is rumoured to belong to Governor Mwangi wa Iria) on your way to Kiawamburi and they are also engaged in cases of burglary in the area.

She sadly narrated how her son was brutally attacked saying that his right eye is now swollen and is not functioning. She said that Muchiri is not only nursing injuries but also suffering from psychological torture.

On his part Mr. Ng'ang'a the area Chair for Nyumba Kumi have also expressed concerns over the rising number of cases of insecurity and has called on security agencies to crackdown the killer gang.

He said that   “Insecurity is on the rise and we are even forced to go for short calls in basins at night due to fear of our safety,” Ng'ang'a said

He added that Criminals were roaming freely in Mukuyu and continued to maim residents with impunity,”

He warned that failure for the security agencies to take charge they would not sit and watch as thugs torture residents.

This comes less than a month after a 17 year old lady believed to belong to the Gaza squad from Kambirwa was shot dead in Kayole Nairobi.

LEGAL TSUNAMI: 4pm Today Moses Mwangi's Date With High Court

If you thought Dr Moses Ndungu Mwangi was out of the hook over a case that has been filed against him and ruled on his favour was over (of allegations of party hopping ) then you are indeed mistaken.

The case that had been filed by Peter Gatawa, a former Kiru Councillor, a loser of Jubilee party primaries and a close ally of Governor Mwangi wa Iria had been dismissed by Milimani law courts but Gatawa appealed in the High Court with an aim of vindicating his allegations with what he calls un impeachable evidence hoping that he shall get unequivocal justice.

He has filed a litany of accusations against Mzalendo Saba Saba party Gubernatorial Aspirant.

Gatawa urges the Court to nullify Moses Mwangi's candidature over claims that he party hopped from Jubilee Party to Maendeleo Chap Chap and then to Mzalendo Saba Saba party.

Kk online News has since established that Jubilee Party has affirmed that they never received a resignation letter from Doctor Moses who defected from Jubilee party a day before the first flopped party primaries.

The case which have kept Moses and his supporters wide awake will be determined in less that 8 hours from now.

His followers have ants in pants because if it is ruled against their favour then it means that Daktari may not be in the ballot on 8/8/2017 a move that may demotivate them from participating in the General elections.

However if the case will be ruled in their favour then it creates a very fertile grounds for Moses to seek sympathy from the voters who may see this as a move to deny  his political right.

The ruling may make or break Dr. Moses' Candidature something that has made his supporters hold their breath relentlessly waiting for the verdict.

Yesterday Moses took to social media asking his supporters to "accompany him at the Court precincts and offer moral support to our Governor"

He accused his opponent for sponsoring Court litigations in efforts to have him Disqualified to participate in the General elections.

In an emotional facebook post Moses wrote. "They have partially succeeded because his name now cannot be gazetted by Iebc pending the hearing and determination of the case levelled against him".

He concluded with a Bible verse from Luke 18:7&8: "And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly."

We will be closely monitoring the case and we shall be updating you on the proceedings and the ruling of the same

DISBELIEF: Why Nyerians Kept Off Jubilee Caravan

Big rallies may be over-rated when it comes to motivating voters to come out and vote on elections day especially in this year's hotly contested Presidential race.

Jubilee Party losers seem to be more determined to hold political caravans and thereby sending a signal to His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta (Political conspiracy) may be as a way of soothing him to reward them in lucrative state jobs when he forms the Next Government.

On Sunday 11th June the Jubilee Caravan found itsway in Nyeri County.

Led by losers Mary Wambui, Othaya, Jamleck Kamau Murang'a and 20 others who lost during the Jubilee party primaries, they started their day's activities, by attending a Church service (May be to ask God to bless their day and praying that people may flock in their rally)

They also made several unproductive stop overs before making their way to Kamukunji grounds.

The caravan attracted only a handful of Nyeri residents, a low turnout in what may be said to be the worst for a 'Political bigwigs"

According to Nyeri residents who spoke to Kk online News, there was no way they could attend a rally organised by those they rejected during the Jubilee party primaries

'How do I attend a rally to listen to someone I voted out, By sending them home we meant that we don't want to see them in the helm of leadership', Kigo Kamau said.

On her part Grace Njeri said that she avoided the meeting because to her 'the so called political bigwigs think that they are the only once who can be voted in and thereby take voters for granted by insinuating that they were rigged out.

In the four types of Kenyan Political rally attendees:interested type, Die hard supporters, ill minded fellows and The "Let's just go" Nyerians who attended the rally seem to chose the "Let's just go" type.

These are the people who just attend because the event location is within reach. On most occasions they go in groups and also use the event as a pass-timer because of a jobless day boredom or just to be away from home. They are also not interested in the meeting theme and are likely to stay until the end of the event but still leave without noting even a single thing that was addressed by the speakers.

The much hyped political rally ended up in disarray.

CONFESSION: Muranga's James Gathungu Explains Why He Broke Up With Miguna Miguna

News that Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna  had dumped his running mate James Gathungu three months to the elections and two weeks after unveiling him shocked many who wondered what went wrong to the two who had hold a joint Press briefing exuding confidence that they would clinch the Nairobi's top job.

When the Controversial lawyer appeared at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to present his papers for governorship, he showed up with a different running mate a little known Karen Wangwenye  an alumnae of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.

KK Online News have reached to James Karihe Gathungu with an aim of getting the facts right on what went wrong.

A 24 year old vibrant Turk, Karihe started his conversation with an idiomatic expression posing a question. "Let me ask you what would you do if you are in a ship and it is about to sink or you happen to see a very beautiful house but it has nothing inside would you make yourself comfortable in the house or would you get yourself In the move?"

He categorically stated that it was not Miguna Miguna who dumped him but it was Him who realized that Miguna was a Serious Joker who is best suited to be a social media Governor. (Miguna has this mistaken assumption that his 20,000 Twitter followers (Peter Kenneth had 300,000) will come out in droves to elect him.)

A student from Laikipia University with Bachelor of Arts and Statistics described Miguna Miguna, a Canadian based Lawyer as rude, An Aspirant with dead vision and a vulgur man who cannot talk unless he insults another person

He said that associating himself with Miguna Miguna would ruin his political future since he would later require those who Miguna called Thieves, Murderers, and Land grabbers.

In an exclusive interview with KK online News, Karihe who is popularly known as Karismatic downplayed Miguna's manifesto interpreting it as an outright lie and sheer nonsense.

"It is laughable for Someone to lie to Kenyans that he would build 50 Referral hospitals in Nairobi and that he would build 20 state of art standard underground tarmaced roads criss crossing Nairobi, You see, that's why I turned down Miguna's offer.

Karihe said that Miguna has no political strategy, lacked logistics and has dead ideologies.

He said that Miguna would never be Nairobi's Governor wondering when he would start his campaigns 'He is always abroad'

KK online News has learnt that Since Miguna Miguna declared his interest to be Nairobi's CEO he has done nothing to show that he understands the Kenyan Political Strategy, he has not conducted a single rally, he has never hold a closed door meeting with Nairobi's stakeholders among other things.

SIGH OF RELIEF: Prices For Gas Cylinders In Murang'a To Be Slashed By 50%

Forests play a vital role in maintaining the health of our planet. They serve as the ‘lungs’ of Earth, sequestering carbon and other greenhouse gases to provide oxygen.

They recharge watersheds and help regulate the hydrological systems that govern our climate. They are rich in biodiversity, home to more species than any other terrestrial biome.

However Human beings need forests too. Millions of people live in and depend on them for almost everything, from food to medicine to shelter. Forests also absorb the carbon dioxide we emit from cars, planes and power plants, making them critical in the global fight against climate change.

Yet every single minute an area of forest the size of fifty soccer fields is cut down.

Some of the reasons why trees are cut down is because of the global demand for products like wood, Charcoal, among others.

The Government of Kenya seem to be working hard  to change the forest economy so that trees are kept standing - to promote development without destruction rather than destruction without development.

Kephas Marube, a Murang'a North Assistant County Commissioner has told KK online News that as a way of mitigating and solving the issue of deforestation the prices for gas cylinders starting September this year, will be slashed by 50%

This means a gas cylinder worth Sh 4000 will be selling at Sh 2000.

"Murang'a residents who depend on firewood and charcoal will afford Meko gas at a subsidized cost," Marube said.

He disclosed that the project will be driven by self help groups who will be incharge of distribution and refilling of gas cylinders.

"We will be rolling out deports in all our Sub Counties where our people will be refilling the gases," Marube said adding that the project will not only create jobs but will also improve the living standards of the Murang'a inhabitants.

He said that Murang'a County has been earmarked among the first 18 Counties that will benefit from the National Government in conjunction with National Oil Cooperation.

In an exclusive interview with KK online News,Marube announced that the project will be launched soon.

He was The vicar larger Gatumbi parish in the early 90's where he mediated peace after a long tym wrangles.

Similarly, Ack Gathukieni he brokered peace in two split groups that had issues for a long tym.

Christians who know him and has interacted with him describe him as  one of The Best Minds ,Spiritually, Administratively,Development and holistic.

KK online News managed to get his Acceptance Speech. Have a look

"Our Honorary Diocesan Chancellor and Chairman of the Electoral College Mr Kimani Kairu and your team, the electoral College, My Lord Bishops, the clergy, Christians of the Diocese of Mt Kenya Central and all present. Praise the Lord.

I want to say that for me this is a very humbling issue. I'm deeply humbled by this great challenge of being elected the 4th Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Mt Kenya Central. My family, My wife Esther in absentia but joining us soon, my daughters Salome and Dorris who recently moved to the United States of America to continue with their studies (I had a nice time together during part of my annual leave which is ending today) and my son Alex definitely join me in thanking you for showing confidence that you believe I will be able to serve as the Diocesan Bishop.

I would like to take this earliest to thank his Grace the Arch Bishop Rt. Rev Jackson Ole Sapit for his tireless efforts in ensuring the Diocese had elections
The "Second Election Journey" started from Diocesan Synod held on 4th Feb 2017 which he personally chaired. The process has finally culminated in election of the 4th Diocesan Bishop
His determined impartial and assertive approach coupled with love and understanding will forever be cherished by Christians of this Diocese and we together wish him God's blessings and interventions in all his endeavours as he leads the Anglican Church Of Kenya.

I cannot forget the prayer teams that spent their time agonising over and interceding for this process. This is what prayers can do. I pray the spirit of prayer continue in this Diocese. One instance of the prayer Is the graceful acceptance to restart the Bishopric election process right from the local churches after the direction to do so by the Provincial office. It has not been an easy road but God remained faithful. The Bible tell us to continue praying without CEASING.

Ven John with his wife Mama Mwangi Ven Wilson and Mama Dennis are my colleagues in this Diocese. We have come along way as friends in this Diocese. I appreciate that they not only offered their Candidatures but the three of us were recommended by the Search Committee held on May 6th 2017. I applaud their concession with humility and appreciation. Lets join hands to serve this great Diocese.

I believe this is not my Victory but the Lords Victory. This could not have been humanly possible because deliberate, Frequent and Aggressive efforts to block the process have been done since we started the process BUT i believe we all need to accept and come to the reality of God's will. Brethren God works mysteriously as Paul reminds us in Romans 8:28 when he says "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him who have been called according to His purpose" although God's ways may seem to be mysterious and unfathomable at times, we can rest confidently that they are higher than our ways. I therefore take this responsibility with humility.

Now that we have come to an end of lobbying, Jostling and praying for the preferred Candidates, let us now join hands to serve this great Diocese. A Diocese with a great history of Spirituality. It is therefore with profound thanksgiving to God and the Church that I will serve with dedication and with all my strength and with God's help.

As I conclude, let us pray that our Diocese will grow from strength to strength. To achieve this, it is my humble appeal that all of us MUST BE COMMITTED TO OUR CALLING. let us persue peace, forgiveness and reconciliation as we pray for one another so that we may move on.We must do our best to advance unity, we must work together and be seen working together. Somebody wisely said that if you want to walk fast walk alone but if you want to go far walk together with others.

Now to him who is able to keep us from falling and to present is faultless before the presence of his groly and exceeding joy to god our Savior who alone is wise be the groly and majesty dominion and power both now we'd forever amen Jude 24 25

LEGAL COMBAT:Get Ready To Face Tribunal- Kangata Tells Kembi

The Jubilee party campaign caravan dubbed mbele iko sawa which was held on Thursday 8th June was highly successful despite almost getting into headwinds attributed to supremacy battles within the party hierarchy.

In some stop overs of Gatanga and Kigumo constituencies however irate youth could be seen and heard chanting the slogan of Amb Senator Kembi Gitura when ever Kangata was speaking.

According to Kangata's office, '"There is credible information on how the youth were offered monetary inducements by staffs from senator Kembi's office. They were provided with placards reading "Uhuruto tosha others let people decide Murang'a no suit".

The office of Hon Irungu Kangata has told KK online News that the staff from the senators office induced youth to carry the placards and equally got instructions to heckle Irungu Kangata, to create a perception of voter hostility towards his candidature.

"The residents went further to provide photographic evidence of the staff deployed for the heinous acts,

We have all the reasons to associate Kembi with the election malpractices since we have evident photos of his 3 staffs with sports  utility vehicle Honda model  ferrying the placards and the hired youth were also  captured on camera," a Campaign strategist in Kangata's camp told KK online News.

Kiharu's legislator believe that the act is In contravention of the electrol code of conduct and is now on his final touches preparing to make a formal complaint to the IEBC.

However Muranga Senator and Senate Deputy Speaker Kembi Gitura has rubbished Kangata's accusations as cheap propagandas asking him to 'Fight his own battles'

"Let him learn how to fight his own wars and stop involving me in his cheap political propaganda and he is free to go to IEBC Tribunal or court. I'll meet him there," Kembi told KK online News.

Kembi Gitura clashed with Irungu Kangata during the disbursement of relief food at Kambiti where he asked voters not to vote Kangata in the Senate as he had earlier said he would prepare a bill to scrap the upper house.

FINALLY: Moses Mwangi Reveals His 'Sponsor'

Moses Ndungu Mwangi is a Murang'a gubernatorial candidate on Mzalendo Saba Saba party.

Many people have associated his candidacy with Murang'a's tycoon Mr Peter Munga arguing that he has been financially supported by his former employer to stand in for his interests in Muranga County.

However Doctor Moses Mwangi has finally touched about the topic elaborating that he has offered himself to govern Murang'a not to protect anybody's interests or to be used by any businessman or tycoon but to work for the people of Muranga.

Talking to KK online News on phone, Moses a Pharmacist by profession said that Murang'a residents have for a long time suffered  silence  from anguish and grief as they watch Murang'a County getting to headlines for the wrong reasons vowing to 'restore the lost groly' when he assume office on September as the Second Governor for Murang'a County.

Speaking a day after a legal combat between him and 10 Murang'a residents who urged IEBC to disqualify him over claims of party hopping hit a Hard Rock Moses said that it was far from truth that he had hopped clearing that it was grossly unfair to attack him on falsehood.

"I'm  not worried the more they attack me, the more I feel fire in the belly to continue with my vision for the County," Moses told KK online News.

He observed that the move to take him to Court was only meant to derail the Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission from printing his name but exuded confidence that he shall overcome all the stumbling blocks and emerge victorious in the forthcoming General elections.

Asked whether he was being sponsored by Peter Munga he said "Yes I am a project but NOT for anyone but I'm a project of Murang'a voters"

Moses will be locking horns with Murang'a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria who will be vying through Jubilee party

He said that one of his main agenda will be transforming the Health sector which he said has deteriorated. He said that as a doctor he shall be taking into consideration the medics grievances, performance up-raisal and sponsoring medics to upgrade their education to improve service delivery.

EXCLUSIVE : Residents Accuse Chief Of Stealing Relief Food

On 6th June this year Devolution and Planning Cabinet Secretary, Mwangi Kiunjuri distributed relief food in Makuyu, Mithi-ini and Kambiti villages in Muranga County accompanied by Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development CS, James Kamau Macharia, Planning Principal Secretary, Irungu Nyakera and Housing Principal Secretary Arch. Iddah Munano.

This was because of  the prolonged drought that has left hundred of thousands residents hungry, hopeless and in dire need of Government intervention.

The County where some parts are relatively dry has been identified among most drought hit areas that require government’s intervention.

After long hours of waiting at Kambiti Chief's camp, the hungry residents started witnessing huge Government vehicles flowing in.

With rekindled  hope, they knew that they would go home, happy and with good news to their children who had probably slept, empty stomachs.

When Mwangi Kiunjuri took to the podium, he assured Kambiti inhabitants that each could take home  atleast 20 Kilograms of maize and rice.

Upon receiving the rare message from the CS, the crowd cheered with joy and happiness because the food would take them atleast a week or two.

However this never happened. Residents took home two cups of rice and two cups of Maize.

Residents were in for a rude shock. They could not question the Chiefs, Assistant Chiefs and the Village heads since they would not dare play with 'Kirauni'

They went home tired, frustrated, angry and feeling cheated.

Feeling cheated because they knew  it was their Administrators 'Who stole their right, relief food"

According to the area residents, Chiefs, Assistant Chiefs and the village heads could store the relief food and subdivide amongst themselves in future.

On Thursday 8th June this year, several residents notified KK online News that the Chief and his Juniors had converged at his office to 'Steal the rest of the relief food'.

"We were used as mere stamps to pave way for the administrators to get the relief food, it was meant for them not us," a resident told KK online News.

The area residents Now want the Government officials to make sure that whenever there is such programs they wait until the residents get their share to avoid exploitation by the Chiefs.

They told KK online News that the Chief, his Assistant Chiefs took home 2 sacks each!

However Muranga South Assistant County Commissioner Titus Macharia told KK online News that the Chiefs and his Juniors met yesterday to share relief food meant for Persie Davies, ( a school for the disabled) and Mihango primary school where there is a school feeding program.

He also said that those with concrete evidence should avail him or herself to his office at Kenol promising to deal ruthlessly with any officer found culpable.

"People came out in large numbers for the relief food and that's why it was not enough but The CS promised to give us more from next week," Macharia told KK online News on phone.

COURT VICTORY: Moses Mwangi Will Smile All The Way

Doctor Moses Ndungu Mwangi Is a happy and relieved Man.

This was after a lawsuit filed against him by Muranga residents was dismissed for lacking enough evidence to lock Daktari out of August General Elections.

Peter Gatawa and 9 others had asked Milimani law courts to nullify Mwangi's Gubernatorial Candidature over claims of party hopping.

They argued that Moses has hopped from Jubilee Party to Maendeleo Chap Chap and then to Mzalendo Saba Saba party.

However Moses was able to convince the Court that he had never contravened the law and satisfactorily told the Tribunal that from Jubilee party he shifted to Mzalendo Saba Saba party days before the deadline for Party hopping.

Moses' win was warmly welcomed by his supporters who now believe he is the best ideal candidate for Murang'a County.

Moses had unsuccessfully used Mzalendo Saba Saba party in 2013, after losing to Governor Mwangi wa Iria during the TNA nominations.

His win means that he will be battling it out with Murang'a Governor Hon Mwangi wa Iria, Muranga's Jubilee nominee for the Governorship post.

Moses slogan is Actions and Peace (Ciiko na Thayu), a slogan he came up with during a hotly contested Gubernatorial Politics between Governor Mwangi wa Iria and Kigumo lawmaker Hon Jamleck Kamau.

A pharmacist by profession, Moses believes he will be elected as Murang'a Early in the morning promising Wa Iria a ride over his own money.

TROUBLED JUBILEE: Why Wa Iria Will Not Attend Jubilee's Caravan

Jubilee Party is on trial.

The President's political vehicle is slated to tour areas of Gatanga like Mabanda, Gatunyu, Gatanga, Chomo among others.

The Caravan will be led by Muranga women representative Hon Wanjiru Chege and Her Counterpart Gatundu South law maker Hon Moses kuria.

However Muranga Governor Hon Mwangi wa Iria has confirmed to KK online News that he will not be attending the caravan.

Among the reasons that have been given is that No one including Sabina and kuria bothered to officially invite Wa Iria or consulted him over the logistics of the Caravan.

The two architectures of the meeting are believed to sideline Wa Iria as a strategy for aligning and re aligning themselves in 2022 political game plan.

According to Wa Iria's confidant, Sabina and Kuria have future political ambitions since both want to inherit Uthamaki Kingdom and probably with an aim of becoming the next Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya after William Samoei Arap Ruto.

"They want to first of all deal with Wa Iria who has proved to have masses and then deal with each other later," Wa Iria's confidant noted.

"Since Wa Iria is the last man standing in Central Kenya after Jubilee party primaries, every Jubilee Nominee who is eyeing an important seat in Central Kenya is worried.

The move by Sabina Chege and Moses Kuria of failing to consult Wa Iria has shocked many since both are believed to be Wa Iria's good friends.

However Wa Iria's team have said that the Governor will be conducting his Political meetings.

Supporters of Governor Mwangi wa Iria are also very mad with Sabina Chege for "Working behind his back and inviting Mwangi Kiunjuri, James Macharia and Kembi Gitura, an Independent candidate in Muranga County without Wa Iria's knowledge," Wa Iria's campaign strategist told KK online News.

"Although all Jubilee Nominees were supposed to work together there seems to be alot of mischief in these leaders and if this will not be addressed we will also ask Our Governor to support an Independent candidate,"

He accused Maragua Member of parliament Jubilee Candidate Mary Waithira Njoroge alias Wamaua for talking ill of Wa Iria.

We will be monitoring the event as we keep you updated on the happenings of the meeting.

FRIENDS TURNED FOES: Peter Munga Fights Back Over Wa Iria's Demands

War Councils seem to take root between Governor Mwangi wa Iria and Equity Bank's Chair Mr Peter Munga.

A week earlier, Governor Mwangi wa Iria had offered himself to deal with Munga over hiking of Water Tarrifs by Muranga water and sanitation company vowing to fight on behalf of suffering residents who depend on water from MUWASCO.

Wa Iria had even called a stakeholders meeting at Ihura Stadium today and had instructed Munga to avail himself without failure and apologies.

It remains unclear why the scheduled meeting was called off even after majority of Muranga town residents waited for it with zeal and hopes.

MUWASCO Board Members met yesterday to chat the way forward over the case.

A source within Muwasco offices told KK online News that the Board resolved that the only way they could lower the water Tarrifs was for the County Government to chip in and offer support to the huge loan accumulated by the Water Services provider

A day after the Board converged in MUWASCO offices, Kenya National Chamber Of Commerce And Industry Murang'a Branch has came out fast and furious to Condemn and denouncing what they termed as 'Unfair Attack' to one of their own Mr. Peter Munga.

The Business Community believe Wa Iria has got no issue of water Tarrifs but is just getting an avenue to attack Munga who they say has contributed immensely to the growth of Muranga County through his Industries.

There are speculations that It is Munga who is financially supporting the candidature of Doctor Moses who is his immediate employee.

Led by their Chairman Mr.  Peter Kiguta Kamau, the board has said that 'It must be clearly understood and appreciated by the same aspirants that our members have a Democratic right to support for election whoever is the candidate of their choice.

Furious Kiguta told Murang'a press men that the Governor's statement as articulated by Daily Nation of 7th of June 2017 was not only threatening Munga but could also scare away investors who would want to invest in Muranga County.

"Harassing Business tycoons like Peter Munga who the County can only rely on to attract investors is very dangerous to the economy of our County," Kiguta said.

Wa Iria is also said to be a former employee of Peter Munga soon after he stopped working at Kenya Creameries Company.

There had been attempts by Gatundu South law maker Hon Moses Kuria to mend the fences for the two leaders and the Two promised to work together for the betterment of Muranga County.

On June 25th 2015 the two leaders agreed to bury the hatchet

Munga had these to say.

“Wairia is not an easy man to work with but he has strong principles that cannot be bent. That is one thing I have always liked about him,” he said.

Wairia said: “I am also requesting Munga to support me politically because I know his endorsement would go a long way in propelling me to a second term.
