DASHED HOPES: A MAJOR BLOW TO JAMLECK KAMAU

Contrary to the expectations of many, most of the Jubilee losers have failed to be nominated both in the National Assembly and the Senate.

Save for a few like former Runyenjes MP Cecily Mbarire and his Starehe Counterpart Maina Kamanda who will get nominated to the National Assembly and Beth Mugo who will make a comeback in the Senate, some political bigwigs who were floored during the Jubilee Party nominations are missing in the list.

This is despite remaining loyal to the party and declining to vie on other parties or vie as Independent candidates for various seats but opting to campaign for the party.

In Muranga County, former Kigumo legislator Jamleck Kamau who was trounced by Muranga Governor Mwangi wa Iria in the highly contested gubernatorial nominations is among the politicians campaigning for the Jubilee Party and the re-election of Uhuru Kenyatta under Uhuruto Express initiative.

Time and again, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy have been on record saying politicians who failed in the primaries but opted to support the Jubilee Party will be rewarded with plum state jobs and nominations to key positions once they  form the next government.

With their names missing in the nomination lists for the National Assembly and the Senate, it remains to be seen whether they will be nominated as Cabinet secretaries with their supporters high with expectations for this to happen.

However, this will only happen if Uhuruto and the Jubilee government win the 8th August 2017 General Elections. His goose and that of other politicians will be cooked if NASA wins the elections with some of his supporters expressing this concern, as its highly unlikely NASA will nominate politicians aligned to the Jubilee Party.

Although positions are many in government Jamleck Kamau's  supporters are looking forward for his nomination to this coveted position.

The clock is inching closer to the General Elections with less than 40 days remaining.

Unbelievable: Wa Iria's Dinner Attracts Who Is Who Gets Millions

One Month to General Elections, Murang'a Politicians who eyes different elective positions are leaving no chances to boost their quest for political positions.

From Members of County Assembly candidates to the Presidential candidates, are doing all manner of things to lure voters to consider them in the ballot paper.

However most of them are grappling with financial challenges an obstacle that is surely derailing them to get a platform and probably share their vision to Wanjiku.

A good example is Wangu Mca Candidate Mr. Michael Chege Who has been creative enough to plan a goat eating ceremony that will take place at County Pride hotel at Muranga town to boost his campaigns.

He was vying the same seat on a Jubilee ticket but was outnumbered by Isaac Kamote's votes.

Moses Ndungu Mwangi, a Mzalendo Saba Saba candidate for governorship has also gone broke.

Ndungu has opened a pay Bill number where he is pleading with Murang'a electorates to Help even if it's a coin since Lack of Kifeeti is about to shutter his ambitions.

Governor Mwangi wa Iria is also in the list of those who seem to run out of cash.

On 29/6/2017 Wa Iria organized a dinner at Safari park where the entry was a plate of food worth Sh 100,000.

Majority of his supporters did not make it due to the intensity and sensitivity of economy but they were with him purely on prayers.

"I have been with Wa Iria through thick and thin but I could not manage to attend the high profile dinner but I kept him in prayers, " one of Wa Iria's staunch supporter who many people refer as a goon told KK online News.

Wa Iria's event however managed to attract who is who in the echelon of Jubilee leadership where Cabinet Secretary for Roads Hon James Macharia and Permanent Secretary for Planning and Statistics and Muranga's son Irungu Nyakera Were among the notable guests.

Others were Contractors and business men.

According to an officer who attended the function but requested anonymity, Wa Iria got over 20 Millions without counting those who pledged but did not honour the promise as at Yesterday.

The money will go along way in the 'Finishing line' especially with his competitor, Moses who seems tired and gasping for breath seeking for Campaign monies.
