REPRIEVE FOR WA IRIA, JUBILEE

Governor Mwangi wa Iria and all the Muranga Jubilee Nominees are a happy lot. This is because the earlier ruling by Political Parties and Disputes Tribunal have been stopped by the High Court pending the hearing of the case which is slated to for tomorrow 22th May.

Governor Mwangi wa Iria's lawyer Ng'ang'a Mbugua in collaboration with Jubilee lawyers had rushed to the high Court contesting the PPDT's verdict that Muranga County Gubernatorial primaries be repeated.

Justice Hellen Ongudi of the Nairobi High Court  issued stop orders, following an appeal filed by Governor Mwangi Wa Iria.
The court  also Directed Hon Jamleck Kamau's public statement that he won't take part in the repeat nominations, be filed in court before the hearing.
Kamau declared yesterday that he won't be taking part in the repeat of the exercise because he believed that he would be rigged again.

The jubilee party supported the appeal and said that the tribunal was wrong and insisted that the nominations were free and fair and that Gov Mwangi Wa Iria had been legally nominated .

This decision comes as a relief to the Jubilee party and all candidates who had been elected on the Jubilee ticket since the Tribunal decision left them exposed considering its the same register that was used country wide.
KK online will be closely following whether Kamau will file his public statement before tomorrow Monday 22rd at 2:30 in the evening.

Another Gubernatorial Candidate Ten NASA Candidates And Names Of All Independent And Parties' Candidates In Muranga

With less than than 70 days to the Next General Elections, a new crop of ambitious leaders who hope they will sell their manifesto to Wanjiku have emerged.
For the Governors post many of us only thought of two leaders. Governor Mwangi wa Iria and Moses Ndungu Mwangi.
Moses, an evangelist, presents himself as the best manager probably because of his former positions including Peter Munga's Owned Companies.
Many believe that he will be using Maendeleo Chap Chap. However according to a document originating from IEBC seen by KK online News, Moses will be using Mzalendo Saba Saba Asili the same political vehicle he used in 2013 after losing to Wa Iria in TNA nominations.
Moses has picked WANJOHI FESTUS MITHI as his deputy. Mithi who is believed to have come from Mathioya is said to have political ambitions in Mathioya constituency..
Wa Iria on the other hand has picked KAMAU JAMES KARANJA as his running mate.
A new independent Candidate has sprouted, JERAD AMOS KABUGI
Though little is known about him,  Kabugi is an old man who is said to have oozing wisdom. He started to show his interest to lead Muranga last year .
He believe he is the best suited man for the County's top Job.
If elected by Muranga residents, Kabugi plans to improve the Animal husbandry, Agriculture and unite Muranga.
In Senatorial position, KK online has learnt that despite Mr. Joseph Mbai who lost inJubilee party primaries  and conced defeat,  he is listed as a Maendeleo Chap Chap candidate for Senatorial post.
Another candidate is Mr. Peter Mbui who is vying through Democratic Party.
Kembi Gitura will be running as an Independent Candidate after  rejecting the results where Irungu Kangata will be the Jubilee's Senate flag bearer.
This adds the Senate aspirants to four.
On Members Of Parliament Aspirants Odm will have two flag bearers in Maragua and Kandara ie Ndungu John Wainaina and Muna Paul Kagecha respectively.
Odm has also fielded 6 Mca Aspirants while 2 of NASA affiliate parties, Kalonzo's Wiper Party and Charity Ngilu's Nark has a candidate each.
Despite Francis Ritho's participation in Jubilee's primaries, he will be contesting for Kiharu Mp using Farmers Party
This raises doubs whether the party hopping law is being implemented.
Other candidates using Jubilee's friendlier parties are
John Mucheru for Kangema Mp on Nark Kenya,  Kamau Muchai for Kigumo Mp on Mazingira party, Benson Gatu for Mathioya on Maendeleo Chap Chap, William Kamau for Maragua Mp on PNU, James Kimani for Kandara on Maendeleo chap chap and Nganga Samuel Kimani for Kandara on KANU ticket.
