DISBELIEF: Why Nyerians Kept Off Jubilee Caravan

Big rallies may be over-rated when it comes to motivating voters to come out and vote on elections day especially in this year's hotly contested Presidential race.

Jubilee Party losers seem to be more determined to hold political caravans and thereby sending a signal to His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta (Political conspiracy) may be as a way of soothing him to reward them in lucrative state jobs when he forms the Next Government.

On Sunday 11th June the Jubilee Caravan found itsway in Nyeri County.

Led by losers Mary Wambui, Othaya, Jamleck Kamau Murang'a and 20 others who lost during the Jubilee party primaries, they started their day's activities, by attending a Church service (May be to ask God to bless their day and praying that people may flock in their rally)

They also made several unproductive stop overs before making their way to Kamukunji grounds.

The caravan attracted only a handful of Nyeri residents, a low turnout in what may be said to be the worst for a 'Political bigwigs"

According to Nyeri residents who spoke to Kk online News, there was no way they could attend a rally organised by those they rejected during the Jubilee party primaries

'How do I attend a rally to listen to someone I voted out, By sending them home we meant that we don't want to see them in the helm of leadership', Kigo Kamau said.

On her part Grace Njeri said that she avoided the meeting because to her 'the so called political bigwigs think that they are the only once who can be voted in and thereby take voters for granted by insinuating that they were rigged out.

In the four types of Kenyan Political rally attendees:interested type, Die hard supporters, ill minded fellows and The "Let's just go" Nyerians who attended the rally seem to chose the "Let's just go" type.

These are the people who just attend because the event location is within reach. On most occasions they go in groups and also use the event as a pass-timer because of a jobless day boredom or just to be away from home. They are also not interested in the meeting theme and are likely to stay until the end of the event but still leave without noting even a single thing that was addressed by the speakers.

The much hyped political rally ended up in disarray.
