INTRIGUING: FRESH DETAILS ON WHY JAMLECK KAMAU SUED JUBILE, WA IRIA

Minutes after the Milimani law Courts ordered fresh gubernatorial primaries to be conducted in Muranga, Muranga residents have raised eyebrows over the litigation
KK online has sought political knowledge to residents and political experts over the same.
The political landscape in Murang'a county has suddenly changed with the proceedings at the political parties tribunal that saw the delivery of a ruling recommending the repeat of nominations in the county.

Majority of residents have wondered what the intentions of the Kigumo lawmaker Jamleck Kamau are in suing governor Mwangi wa Iria and the party.

The residents are now waiting with baited breath for the outcome of an appeal filed by Wa Iria blocking the repeat of the party primaries.

Majority wondered if Kamau would garner enough votes to trounce Wa Iria and why he would want to subject locals in another rigorous exercise in which he is likely to lose.

But another section of people believe it is a ploy by the MP to ensure Wa Iria is not on the ballot, giving aspirant Moses Mwangi a smooth win.

It is however largely believed that the events that will occur in the next few days may also affect the presidential results.

Should governor Wa Iria by any chance lose the nomination, it may cause a serious voter apathy among the hundreds of thousands of locals who benefit from his projects that are criticised as being populist especially the maize seeds and fertilizers programmes.

Some also feel that it may portray Wa Iria as a victim, further elevating him politically, same as Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho whose star has continued to rise with the perception that he is being victimised by the government.

Locals have continued to direct their anger at the MP after failing to recieve fertilizers this week due to this case.
Ends
It is becoming increasingly clear that there are unseen forces behind the heated political temperatures in the county with eyes being set on the 2022 elections.

Several people have expressed their interests in deputising Ruto who is said to have a soft spot for Wa Iria.

KK online has learnt that Kamau has engaged in a series of closed door meetings with powerful tycoons discussings ways of dislodging Wa Iria.

It is vital to point out that some of those tycoons are also believed to be behind Moses Mwangi and have marshalled a group of jubilee losers who are now vying as independents.

All this is said to be aimed at disorienting the the Presidential campaign and ensuring Ruto doea not rise to power in 2022.
The powerful tycoons are also believed to be behind the consistent appearance of independent candidates on local tv and radio houses as a campaign to show that the jubilee party conductes shabby nominations and lobby for support from jubilee zones.
