MARAGUA POLITICS: WHY AN MP ASPIRANT FAILED TO SUBMIT HIS NOMINATION PAPERS TO JUBILEE PARTY

Maragua is a Constituency in Muranga County that is comprised of 6 Wards ie Kambiti, Makuyu, Kimorori Wempa, Kamahuha, Nginda and Ichagaki.
The current Member of Parliament is Peter Kamande Mwangi popularly known as Wambuku. It could be as a result of how cunning he is, a family trademark or may be because he reared rabbits that we have not established.
Though a section of residents do not support his reelection bid Wambuku's Constituency was rated the best interms of usage of Cdf funds.
In his tenure Maragua Nginda road was tarmacked though it is said that it's monies Was lobbied by the former Mp Elias Mbau. It's also in his tenure that tarmacking of Kirimiri Makuyu Kamahuha  road will be launched, he has built cross bridges for some areas.
That however does not mean that he is not facing opposition. About 8 leaders are salivating to represent the people of Maragua each of them sure that Will clinch power come August this year. Here are their names and why they think they should be elected.

ELIAS MBAU
He was a former member of parliament and many believe that Kigumo member of parliament Now Gubernatorial Aspirant contributed immensely to ouster him for County supremacy battles. Coming from Nginda ward Mbau lobbied for tarmacking of Maragua Nginda road which was actualized during Wambuku reign.
During his time Mbau saw that many areas were connected with electricity and mind you the only time Maragua held a prestigious seat in Parliament, A chair of a powerful commitee Budget.
He also have a fare share of problems people see him as an arrogant, so classy and can easily ignore you or even scold you. He is vying on a Jubilee ticket

ANTONY CHEGE WAKABUKO
Comes from Kamahuha Ward. He was the first person to intiate fight against illicit alcohol even before the President but with a different formula, he could organize a match for drankurds, shave them cook them Mbuzi Choma and stew Before bringing in Counsellors to advise them, He has also started computer lessons for Mithi youth without forgetting his contributions to education sector where the best candidate is ferried on a Limo every year.
The only challenge is he is only popular in two wards ie Kamahuha his home place and Kimorori Wempa.
He is also vying in a jubilee party.

MARY WAITHIRA NJOROGE WAMAUA
A women represantive Aspirant looser in 2013 and a Nominated Mca Wamaua comes from Kamahuha ward.
Popular for introducing a failed impeachment motion to Governor Mwangi wa iria and a close ally to Hon Jamlec Kamau, Wamaua believes the popularity has earned her grades to vie for the Constituency top seat.
She is challenged by Governor Mwangi wa iria supporters since she is seen as Maragua Chief campaigner for Only Jamlec Kamau. Infact one cannot talk of Wamaua without mentioning Hon Kamau.
She wants to become the first Woman mp in Maragua on Jubilee ticket.

Paul K Irad
People have heard of him but have never seen him. He is based in UK but operate through his henchmen and thus the name ONLINE MP.
He come from Ichagaki known for establishing Bodaboda sheds nothing match.
He believes that he will be elected on a Jubilee ticket.
WAKILI MARTIN
coming from Kaharo Nginda, the Controversial lawyer has intiated football leagues to entice the youth. He believes he will be Jubilee Party flag bearer.

SAM WAIRIMU
A young ambitious Youth who comes from Kamahuha. He started his campaign quite early by donating geometrical sets to Standard Eight pupils alongside mentorship program.
He is the person who have made inroads to almost all the villages of Maragua Constituency.
However many people don't take him serious for his age and may be for being short.
This is the guy I told you about in the headline, he has not submitted his papers to IEBC. SAM believes Jubilee Party primaries will not be free and fair. Many aspirants can see this but cannot talk due to the rule of sycophancy. It's primaries will not be conducted by IEBC as earlier promised and use of smart cards have been dismissed.
He says he Will be vying as an Independent candidate and Will soon unveil his symbol and present his papers to IEBC.
This is a good move but the only problem with him and two other Aspirants is that they come from one area Kamahuha not forgetting that it's the home place of Wambuku Sabasaba before shifting to Kambiti, Huhoini. Whether one's home turf block votes will be a determiner of Maragua's next MP, will be a matter of time, let's wait.

REVEALED: JUBILEE DISHONEST WITH PARTY LOYALISTS

We all remember the pomp and colour event at Kasarani where Both President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy insisted on free fare and accountable Party primaries.
The latest happenings does not translate to the promises made by the Party leader. What the Jubilee Party is doing is to use the Integrity test as a pretext to deny it's members a chance to vie on Jubilee ticket so that they give the same ticket to their PREFFERED CANDIDATE.
In Nairobi for example Jubilee knows so well that If Sonko was to face off with Peter Kenneth, Sonko will easily get the Jubilee ticket but since Jubilee had a soft spot for Kenneth that's why they are building imaginary blocks to make sure he does not participate in the Party primaries meant to the place next month.
According to me this is the greatest betrayal of 2017 by Jubilee Party to its staunch supporters such as Mike Sonko.
Comparing sonko's loyalty to the party and President Uhuru Kenyatta and that of Peter Kenneth, you will note that Peter Kenneth ran away from both the TNA and the President when they needed him most. When Kenneth said mtu abebe msalaba wake Sonko went to Icc and caused drama at Netherlands all in the name of rule of sycophancy to Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy... Yaani wamesahau hata hii?
What has been the reward?  Uhuru's administration has scuttled #TeamNairobi to pave way for Kenneth for Nairobi Governor. Those who came up with Team Nairobi seem to be seeking solace Sakaja opting to run for the Senate Seat, Dennis Waweru seeking for his reelection for Dagoretti mp, Margret Wanjiru seeming confused.
For records Sonko could not be the best Governor for Nairobi but it's good to state that he is a crowd puller,  has numbers and this is true for the fact that he had more votes than Uhuru and Raila Odinga.
For Peter Kenneth he has no political base in Nairobi safe for perception that he worked for Gatanga people. In fact he is seen as Kikuyu's representative to guard their wealth in Nairobi. Though he has an academic qualifications and Soberness the same qualifications with Kidero. But What has Kidero done in Nairobi despite his academic achievements?
Free advise to Jubilee please let the people decide don't decide on their behalf.
We all know what's happening in Muranga Jubilee Party secretariat where politicians want to control the Party by injecting their cronies.
In Mombasa County, the Party is facing serious issues it's members blaming Ruto for trying to dictate who to run which seat with or without members wish.

TRUE STATE OF THE KENYAN NATION:

The overarching theme of the State of the Nation address by President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday was that the Jubilee regime has delivered on its pledges, the nation is in great shape and all Kenyans should be cheering.
According to the President, the economy is booming and all elements of economic well-being could not be more sound.
We do not intend to argue with the President’s alternative facts because it would be a futile exercise. It is not our duty to persuade a leader from believing what he has chosen to believe despite all the evidence to the contrary. We only wish to make a few observations that matter for people.
Millions of Kenyans are starving. As the President painted a glowing picture of its tenure and the nation yesterday, reports by the very government he heads indicate that the number of Kenyans facing starvation has risen to 2.7 million in 2017 compared to 1.7 million last year.
The Jubilee administration has sent appeals for food aid all over the world.
The famine ravaging the land is the final repudiation of Jubilee policies on agriculture and food security. Droughts do not cause famines.  Famines are caused by the failure to mitigate droughts.  Jubilee promised to make our deserts bloom.  The 1million acre irrigation promise was just cheap talk. Yet the President says his Jubilee administration has delivered. Mr. President, where is the food?
Kenyans across all walks of life, from smallholder farmers to captains of industry are also wondering which economy the President was talking about. Pension funds and other investors in the Nairobi Stock exchange lost Ksh.120 billion in 2016. The slide continues.  A record number of companies listed on the Nairobi stock exchange have issued profit warnings.  More than 10,000 Kenyans were laid off by big companies last year. These lay-offs have knock on effects on smaller businesses that depend on these big companies as well as the laid off employees.  The Jubilee administration contends that these layoffs have been more than compensated by jobs created by the foreign investors flocking the country.  These both foreign investors and their multitude of employees are hiding in plain sight.
A survey by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) last year revealed that business establishments that were started or acquired within the last two years accounted for 61.3 per cent of the total businesses closed. The highest number of establishments shut down was in 2015. The main reason cited for business closure was shortage of operating funds owing to increased operating expenses, declining income and losses incurred from businesses.
The President painted a glowing picture of Jubilee’s achievements in the energy sector. Yet Kenya’s industrial power costs remain much higher than that of our competitors. It stands at an average of Ksh17 per kilowatt hour (kWh) compared to Tanzania’s Sh12 per unit ($0.12), Egypt’s $0.11 (Sh11), Ethiopia’s $0.09 (Sh9) and South Africa’s and $0.06 (Sh6).
It is not possible to have a meaningful conversation on healthcare with a Government that believes that equipment is more important than doctors and health workers in general or on education with an administration that believes laptops and tablets can deliver results without teachers.
The Jubilee administration had no qualms leasing diagnostic equipment for Ksh.5b a year, but could not care less about the working conditions of doctors and health workers in the public hospitals. It has had no qualms dedicating billions to laptops while fimding it unnecessary to raise teachers’ pay.
Can equipment autonomously treat and care for the sick or teach students? Jubilee seems to think so.
For months now, we have been treated to a national comedy of a President running helter skelter desperately looking for projects to commission. In this frantic, fruitless search for tangible achievements lies the biggest mystery of the Jubilee administration. Every year, the Jubilee Government’s development budget has exceeded the national revenue share of the counties, with which the counties finance both recurrent and development budget.
The Jubilee development budget for four years is Ksh.1.9 trillion. Transfers to the counties on the other hand in the same period amounts to Ksh.970 billion of which the counties aim to spend only a third or Ksh. 320 billion on development projects. 
Having spent close to six times more than the county governments on development projects, the President should not be scavenging for projects to launch.  He ought to be overwhelmed by the sheer number of Jubilee projects that need launching.  He would not be making whirlwind tours to Central Kenya making promises. He should not have been drowned by demands for water and markets from his supporters in Karatina, Mwea and Gatundu recently. Jubilee has nothing to show for the Ksh. 1.9 trillion development budget in the four years.
Jubilee’s campaign promises from lap tops to bullet trains to grand new sports stadia were crafted to impress the digital generation. The administration’s undoing is that it believed its own hype and has been living in an alternative video games reality, where resources are limitless, and development is measured by the grandiosity of the projects, at our expense.
Jubilee took over a nation of Ksh. 1.5 trillion debt. That debt is now Ksh. 4 trillion and rising. As a Kenyan, has your income increased two and a half times since Jubilee came to power? Your share of the national debt has. And that debt is due and payable.  That is why the cost of living is skyrocketing. That is why the Jubilee administration does not want to hear of better terms for doctors or nurses or anybody else.  It has already mortgaged the country.

Before Jubilee adopted lies as a tool for governing, the Kenya Roads Board and the National Treasury published yearly reports on the developments in the infrastructure sectors, especially roads. KRB would publish how and where it has spent the proceeds of Fuel Levy while the National Treasury published reports on roads funded by the ex-chequer. Since Jubilee came to power, such reports have been made top secret, nolonger available to citizens. The reason Jubilee wants to lie about roads. Yesterday, the President repeated the familiar lies that some 7000 kilometres of roads have been done. It is a lie.
We challenge are challenging the President to show Kenyans the 7000 kilometres of roads it has constructed in the last four years by category, status and region; what class of road, from where to where?
The President cannot take routine and periodic maintenance of roads; including the gravelling the earth roads, pothole patching, bush clearing and drainage clearance and report it as an achievement.
We challenge the President to give Kenyans a breakdown of the Government of Kenya funding as budgeted by stating which roads were earmarked for development in FY 2013/2014, FY 2015/2016 and FY 2016/2017, how much was spent and when they got completed.
Fellow Kenyans, the way Jubilee has ran Kenya is no way to run a country, or a business, or even family finances.
It is time to call this misadventure off, or we shall surely go over the cliff. As NASA our agenda first and foremost, is to return sanity and honesty to the management of our country, and stewardship of the economy in particular.   This is reflected in the seven pillar policy platform we have agreed on and articulated in our coalition agreement: National reconciliation and healing, resolving historical injustices, realizing equality of women, youth, persons with disabilities, and the disadvantaged communities and groups as mandated by the Constitution (Article 27), strengthening devolution, transforming government into a servant of the people, realizing social and economic rights as enshrined in Article 43 of the Constitution, eradicating poverty and unemployment and dealing decisively with corruption.
It is clear the government is lost and struggling, just when we thought the government has the roadmap. Such is our fate as a nation. The task ahead may look herculean, and indeed it is. The future may look bleak.
But help is at hand.  Let’s take faith in the tested principle that the darkest hour of the night comes just before the dawn.

PLEASE MR PRESIDENT DONT HURL INSULTS DURING THE STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS

Kenyans are eagerly waiting to hear what President Uhuru has for Kenyans in his state of Nation Address which is scheduled to take place today at 2:30 where both the Senators and Members of Parliament are expected to be in National Assembly.
The President's State of Nation Address comes at a time when Hunger has really hit the many parts of the Country where people and livestock have died. What advise does President has to Kenyans especially after Weather man said we shall experience minimal rainfall.
His address also comes at a time when doctors just called off their strike which has taken a 100 Days. Patients have died while others have suffered after both the Government representatives and KMPDU officials failed to reach to an agreement safe for the intervention of Religious leaders. ( Hope Uhuru will recognize them)
Uhuru's government has been known for Corruption scandals. In last year's State of Nation address President gave a directive for Cs and State agencies officers to step aside incase they had been mentioned in graft allegations. Has anyone one been charged for the same A BIG NO. The only result is that Corruption has acceralated remembering the 5 billion scandal in Health Ministry, 1 billion scandal in NYS scandal just to mention but a few.
SECURITY AND ECONOMY
Security is deteriorating. You remember our sons, daughters, brothers and Sisters who are in Somalia in the name of bringing order and normalcy?  Many have died. Here at home Security is at it's worst at Laikipia and Baringo we are waiting to hear from Uhuru what his Government is doing over the same.
And before talking of SGR, tarmacked roads under Jubilee Government,  Last mile connectivity program, promised laptops, and others we would want to know why the Jubilee Government promised to lower unga prices only to get at 125 from 80.
Kenyans plead with His excellency not to hurl insults to leaders and Kenyans while issuing the state of Nation address but instead give a conciliatory tone to his supporters and non supporters.
