REWARDING CRONIES: The Final List Of Nominees Submitted By Jubilee To IEBC
Friday, June 30
DASHED HOPES: A MAJOR BLOW TO JAMLECK KAMAU
Contrary to the expectations of many, most of the Jubilee losers have failed to be nominated both in the National Assembly and the Senate.
Save for a few like former Runyenjes MP Cecily Mbarire and his Starehe Counterpart Maina Kamanda who will get nominated to the National Assembly and Beth Mugo who will make a comeback in the Senate, some political bigwigs who were floored during the Jubilee Party nominations are missing in the list.
This is despite remaining loyal to the party and declining to vie on other parties or vie as Independent candidates for various seats but opting to campaign for the party.
In Muranga County, former Kigumo legislator Jamleck Kamau who was trounced by Muranga Governor Mwangi wa Iria in the highly contested gubernatorial nominations is among the politicians campaigning for the Jubilee Party and the re-election of Uhuru Kenyatta under Uhuruto Express initiative.
Time and again, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy have been on record saying politicians who failed in the primaries but opted to support the Jubilee Party will be rewarded with plum state jobs and nominations to key positions once they form the next government.
With their names missing in the nomination lists for the National Assembly and the Senate, it remains to be seen whether they will be nominated as Cabinet secretaries with their supporters high with expectations for this to happen.
However, this will only happen if Uhuruto and the Jubilee government win the 8th August 2017 General Elections. His goose and that of other politicians will be cooked if NASA wins the elections with some of his supporters expressing this concern, as its highly unlikely NASA will nominate politicians aligned to the Jubilee Party.
Although positions are many in government Jamleck Kamau's supporters are looking forward for his nomination to this coveted position.
The clock is inching closer to the General Elections with less than 40 days remaining.
Unbelievable: Wa Iria's Dinner Attracts Who Is Who Gets Millions
One Month to General Elections, Murang'a Politicians who eyes different elective positions are leaving no chances to boost their quest for political positions.
From Members of County Assembly candidates to the Presidential candidates, are doing all manner of things to lure voters to consider them in the ballot paper.
However most of them are grappling with financial challenges an obstacle that is surely derailing them to get a platform and probably share their vision to Wanjiku.
A good example is Wangu Mca Candidate Mr. Michael Chege Who has been creative enough to plan a goat eating ceremony that will take place at County Pride hotel at Muranga town to boost his campaigns.
He was vying the same seat on a Jubilee ticket but was outnumbered by Isaac Kamote's votes.
Moses Ndungu Mwangi, a Mzalendo Saba Saba candidate for governorship has also gone broke.
Ndungu has opened a pay Bill number where he is pleading with Murang'a electorates to Help even if it's a coin since Lack of Kifeeti is about to shutter his ambitions.
Governor Mwangi wa Iria is also in the list of those who seem to run out of cash.
On 29/6/2017 Wa Iria organized a dinner at Safari park where the entry was a plate of food worth Sh 100,000.
Majority of his supporters did not make it due to the intensity and sensitivity of economy but they were with him purely on prayers.
"I have been with Wa Iria through thick and thin but I could not manage to attend the high profile dinner but I kept him in prayers, " one of Wa Iria's staunch supporter who many people refer as a goon told KK online News.
Wa Iria's event however managed to attract who is who in the echelon of Jubilee leadership where Cabinet Secretary for Roads Hon James Macharia and Permanent Secretary for Planning and Statistics and Muranga's son Irungu Nyakera Were among the notable guests.
Others were Contractors and business men.
According to an officer who attended the function but requested anonymity, Wa Iria got over 20 Millions without counting those who pledged but did not honour the promise as at Yesterday.
The money will go along way in the 'Finishing line' especially with his competitor, Moses who seems tired and gasping for breath seeking for Campaign monies.

SHOCK:Murang'a Youth In Love With NASA's Manifesto Tear Down Jubilee's
The two major political parties in Kenya ie Jubilee and NASA have launched their Manifestos that will act as road map for the next five years should either forms Government.
NASA Coalition under the stewardship of Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka launched their vision to the Country yesterday a day after Uhuru Ruto's Jubilee unveiled their agenda in a colourful ceremony.
While Raila Odinga seems to concentrate on strengthening devolution, improving the living standards in Kenya and matters to do with social justice Jubilee is keen on promising continuity of their already established programs.
However majority of Muranga youths feel that Jubilee's manifesto was more of PR Stunts, a vision that can only be attained in dreamland.
Mwangi Maina a resident from Mathioya Constituency, has described Jubilee's manifesto as a lie, complicated and un realistic.
"Where is Jubilee Government going to get 1.3 Million jobs while they did not actualize 1 Million jobs they promised in 2013?" Mwangi wondered.
He castigated Jubilee for 'Not delivering on their promise.'
'They promised us 5 utra-Modern Stadium but that has not been actualized'
Mwangi noted that the ruling Coalition has given a manifesto that fits in already developed state while Kenya is developing Nation.
On Jubilee's promise of offering paid internship, Mwangi laughed off the idea saying that the move was just but a beautiful lie.
"We are currently living in deficit, and going by Jubilee's populists move we will have to pay more tax,"
However Mwangi said that NASA on the other hand had a very clear and workable manifesto that could be of essence to many Kenyans.
In a 72 page document, NASA promises to bar any Government official from working with the Government as measures to curb Corruption.
"Their Manifesto has a sense of inclusivity and if conceptionalised, will spur economic growth, he said.
A down to earth gentleman said that if electorates would be considering Manifesto, NASA would be elected early in the morning.
On his part Allan Kamau dismissed Jubilee's manifesto saying that Youth issues were not well articulated.
"These guys are promising a Six lane Superhighway from Nairobi to Mombasa which is estimated to cost Over Ksh 500 Billion, without forgetting a Ksh 329 Billion Standard Gauge Railway. This means that we will live to pay these debts, Kamau exclaimed.

CONTRAST: Michuki Family Divided Over Jubilee Six Piece And Smaller Parties
Whenever the name of John Njoroge Michuki is mentioned, we remember a no nonsense man, bold, a man of strong Character and straight forward leader who always spoke his mind.
He was a staunch adherent of Kibaki's Principles of Governance and Transport reforms, introduced Speed Governors and Safety belts and by his own achievements, showed himself a worthy member of Kibaki's most consulted kitchen cabinet.
Michuki was influential, respected and a feared politician. He defended the Government with all his heart soul and spirit.
No one could argue or talk after he finished giving his speech, his word was final.
He was the engine behind Uhuru Kenyatta's endorsement in 2012 in a meeting at Ihura Stadium where the ground was full to its capacity. He was so domineering that no other Murang'a leader would go against his wish.
However his family seem to be holding opposing views on Uhuru Kenyatta's wish, Advocating for six piece voting pattern in Murang'a County.
One of his Sons is in the echelon of Jubilee party while his close relative is vying for Kangema Parliamentary seat on Martha Wangari's Nark Kenya party.
John Njoroge Mucheru whose father is John Michuki's step brother is a real threat to a Jubilee nominee in Kangema Constituency Mr. Muturi Kigano.
Although President Kenyatta is on record asking Murang'a voters to vote for the Jubilee nominees, Njoroge seems to defy His excellency and seems to be determined to clinch Kangema's seat on 8/8/2017.
Njoroge like any other Candidate in Kangema vying as an independent or on a friendlier party to Jubilee seems to take advantage of the fact that President Kenyatta and His Deputy did not make it to Kangema, it is alledged that they are creating a perception that Uhuru did not step his foot at Kangema because he was in dilemma on how to handle Independent candidates and Jubilee nominees. (Though me and you knows the reason for not making it to Kangema, Kahuro and Mathioya was because of time factor)
On the other hand, Michuki's son seems to be very occupied in Jubilee party doing all that he can to bridge the gap between the Jubilee party leadership and its Mcas nominees.
On 26/6/2017 all Muranga, Nyeri Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Laikipia and Rift Valley Mcas nominees were invited at Multi Media University courtesy of The late Michuki's son to 'Listen to the real issues on the ground' and find the solutions.
According to one of the invitees, The Nominees were given 300 t-shirts, 100 caps,600 flags 600 visors/paper caps.
"We were also given 50,000 each to boost our campaigns," the nominee told KK online News.
Confirming the said meeting, Michuki's son who requested anonymity, said that he just invited the Mcas to offer a technical support to the Jubilee party.
"I don't hold any position in Jubilee Party but I'm just trying to help the Mcas get the campaign materials and assisting the party to know what's going on in the ground and we can only know about it through Mcas,' he said.
In an exclusive phone interview with KK online News, the witty son of Michuki said that he will also be conducting several meetings with Central and Rift Valley Mcas nominees, to make sure that they speak in one voice and drum up support for the reelection of Uhuru Kenyatta.
Asked about his relatives decision to vie on Nark Kenya, he said. ' I have not heard about it but there is nothing wrong for that by the end of day if he gets to Parliament he will vote in favour of our President."
