"We have agreed that we lost the best thing to Government could do is to remember the youth and women who had ambitions of becoming legislators in Muranga County," Irene paused adding That she Trusted that President Uhuru Kenyatta could honour his words that Jubilee Government would accommodate all the losers who remained loyal to the party. She was keen to unseat Sabina Chege together with Catherine Wanjiku popularly known as Mama Sacco and Waithira Muithirania. However The two, Irene and Mama Sacco have conceded defeat but Muithirania rejected the results promising her 99,000 supporters that she would be vying as an Independent candidate.
